This Sidewalk Feasibility Study completed for FDOT District 7 developed alternative design concepts and cost estimates for retrofitting non-motorized facilities within an existing busy suburban arterial roadway corridor with numerous adjoining land uses and access considerations. This design project included an extensive feasibility analysis for the sidewalk construction, the development of typical cross sections, plan sheets showing the application of each typical section, and preparing detailed cost estimates for an aggregate 8 mile section of arterial. Construction is nearing completion on many of the design segments.
