Metropolitan Washington Area Regional Activity Centers Circulation Plan

Landis Evans + Partners, formerly Sprinkle Consulting, assisted with the development of a Regional Activity Center Circulation Plan for the Washington, DC metropolitan area as part of a Transportation and Community System Preservation project awarded by FHWA and FTA. The project focuses on identifying projects that will help the region realize its vision of “improved internal mobility with reduced reliance on the automobile within the regional core and regional activity centers. The project team identified pedestrian, bicycle and transit projects in regional activity centers that will improve circulation systems. A report is being developed that will ultimately lead to inclusion of the projects in the regional Transportation Improvement Program.
